BELOW: We wanted to incorporate the husband and wife's style in this master bathroom, which meant combining contemporary and traditional elements without
sacrificing the integrity of the home. The entire design is a balancing act, with warm and cool tones used throughout the space. Modern pieces include the Timothy Oulton
chandelier and vivid art that feels natural against the wall. A bath mat, small table, and stool for undressing are practical touches for the lady of the house, who often takes
baths. The master vanity features custom rift-cut oak cabinet f ronts with "black fox" lacquer finish and the mirrors show off an inverted triangle design, mimicking the tile
pattern behind the soaker tub. Outfitted with all the bells and whistles, the steam shower is lined with porcelain Daltiles and includes two shower heads, a handheld fixture,
body sprays, and an under-lit bench that gives the small space a dreamy quality.
