340 INSPIRED INTERIORS
BELOW TOP LEFT: This custom wine room was designed to also showcase the owner's bourbon collection, with the stone and reclaimed wood adding a more masculine
touch. Rufty Homes helped create the room's true conversation piece: a window to the dining room next door, outfitted with storage for a collection of wine corks within
the glass.
BELOW TOP RIGHT: The client requested a "happy laundry room," and it doesn't get more cheerful than sunny yellow and flowers. We started with the fabric for the window
covering, based the wall and floor colors off it, added an apron-f ront sink, and installed plenty of storage.
BELOW BOTTOM LEFT: A mudroom must excel at containing mess and look good while doing it. The sliding barn doors conceal shoe storage, leaving the more orderly
hooks on display.
BELOW BOTTOM RIGHT: What was originally a nook with a desk we turned into an orderly mudroom, with brick tile for longevity, wainscoting for architectural interest,
and a cork wallcovering with a little bit of shimmer for style.
