BELOW: For an attorney's home office, we created a distinctly masculine space. The homeowner had standard white built-ins on the opposite wall, but they didn't fit his
edgy style, took up too much space, and weren't fully utilized. We pulled them out and created the unique wall shelves that you see now. The credenza behind the desk
offers storage while the natural shape of the cowhide rug counteracts all the hard, angular lines in the room to bring balance. Greenery dots the interior, which reflects
the family's love of the outdoors.
FACING PAGE: The lady of the house needed an efficient home office to run the busy household. We layered using tone-on-tone in blacks, greys, whites, and ivories, plus
textured wallpaper that gives dimension. To keep the sitting area feeling more open, we used an ottoman instead of two chairs. The f resh puff of pink is a pretty reminder
that this is a woman's territory.
