BELOW TOP: The custom barn door was a solution to an unusual multiple-door problem in this master suite. We added shiplap for depth, texture, and to draw attention to
the soaring 14-foot wall. Simple window coverings allow the eye to go toward the organic, woven material and the cozy bed linens and pillows, not to mention the striking
oversized chandelier with burnished brass.

BELOW BOTTOM: In order to play on the unique window lighting in this bedroom, we kept the treatments simple—just a layer of window film to filter the light. We didn't
want to darken the room so we used the unique window placement to feature the natural lighting angles. The space had a bump-out f rom the fireplace on the first floor's
chimney leading to the exterior of the house, so we placed the bed on that wall and created custom cabinets on either side to fill the spaces. At the foot of the bed, the
bench serves a practical purpose along with a nearby seating area. Soothing colors tie it all together, particularly in the art and rug.
