ABOVE: By starting with an English inspiration and an introduction of small modern elements throughout, I was able to give this home a unique style while maintaining
crucial aesthetics. The kitchen offers the most up-to-date conveniences for homeowners and is designed to show off a balanced blend of traditional and contemporary.
FACING PAGE TOP LEFT, BOTTOM RIGHT & BOTTOM LEFT: You'll notice touches of modernity in every room: custom shutters in the master bathroom, wrought-iron railing
and splayed windows in the foyer, and carefully selected light fixtures for the vaulted ceiling in the second-floor bonus space.
FACING PAGE TOP RIGHT: In order to give this home a history and remove it f rom appearing as new construction, I incorporated important elements to "age" the home.
Those included lime-washed brick, steep roofs, and the proper placement of reclaimed timbers on the exterior. Viewed f rom the motor court, the arched entry breaks up
many of the sharp lines of the f ront facade while also reminding that the home was English-inspired.
