ABOVE & FACING PAGE: The challenge with this lot on Choctawhatchee Bay in Destin, Florida, was to create a luxury home while protecting the valuable wetland areas.
A stucco exterior is stacked with dark-trimmed windows and a concrete tile roof for a dynamic façade. The kitchen is decked out in Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances,
custom steel cabinets, quartzite countertops, a Venetian plaster vent hood, and a beautiful matching backsplash. A floor-to-ceiling Pennsylvania limestone fireplace is
both captivating in appearance and useful during cool fall evenings. The stainless cable railing around the raised pool deck allows unobstructed views of the bay and
surrounding wildlife.
