When friends asked for a new home design for their growing family, it not only led to the creation of a beautiful residence but also the birth of Al
Terry Architecture. Founded in 2000, the full-service architecture firm offers expertise in architectural design, site design, and sustainability. Their
award-winning work consists of residential and nonprofit projects in the Puget Sound region. Al Terry Architecture approaches each project as
a holistic endeavor, knowing that the creation of an architectural project takes time—it's a process, just like the formation of the Grand Canyon.
When they work on a project with a client, their mission is to accomplish three goals: create a place that fits the site, create a place of beauty that
inspires, and balance the clients' needs with their budget while treading lightly on the earth. When he's not designing, you might find the firm's
namesake, Al Terry, pursuing his passion for traveling and hiking, and enjoying plein air sketching with pastels and watercolors.
