RIGHT TOP & BOTTOM: Once again, we wanted the lake view to find its way into
the interior of the home. A sunroom with glass on the sides provides 180-degree
views of the lake while a minimalist fireplace offers warmth during the winter
months without blocking the sightlines. In the primary bathroom, a Japanese
soaking tub offers a dramatic view of Lake Michigan and gives the space a Zen
feel.
FACING PAGE: As you can see, the rear of this home is all about connecting to
the outdoors—and the spectacular lake views. From the walk-out basement to
the attic level deck and the multitude of terraces and large expanses of glass in
between, the line between indoors and outdoors has been blurred.
