ABOVE: A floating spiral staircase provides access to three levels: down to the game room, theater, bar, wine
cellar, and bedrooms; and up to the primary suite with gym, spa, and private deck. The railing continues the
agave theme, with blooming agave newels and olive branches as a homage to the historic, 150-year-old, olive-
lined entry drive.
LEFT: The kitchen is open to the breakfast and family rooms, as well as stair hall and formal dining and living
rooms. Traditional-style custom cabinets and hutch, wood-beamed ceilings, and French oak floors provide an
informal, cozy environment for preparing food and entertaining.
FACING PAGE TOP: Views f rom the foyer continue through the formal living room, which features a large
skylight, hidden pocket sliding doors out to loggia, and ocean and island views beyond.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: A traditional Spanish wall fountain and basin anchor the view into the motor court.
