RIGHT & BELOW: Although it is a historic building, the house called for diagonal walls, which we
introduced to aid with circulation flow and to add contemporary flavor. Every interior space reveals
the careful use of natural and artificial light—a critical component in our designs. We create unique
and customized lighting when a space calls for it, as lighting is so important in enhancing the
experience of a space.
FACING PAGE: Various materials and products were carefully selected to reinforce the design
concept and carry the "flowing water" theme into the interior. The dining room features an elegant
grasscloth ceiling while the cabinetry features two dramatically back-lit, reeded, translucent
panels. The fireplace is adorned with a reclaimed beam acting as a mantel, illuminating the stone
surround below. The master bathroom is designed to create a spa-like atmosphere, housing a
steam shower, inf rared sauna, and air tub.
