ABOVE & FACING PAGE: A traditional Craftsman cottage was the inspiration for this corner home, complete with a wrap-around porch, Hardi Smooth cement board lap
siding, and manufactured stone. But once you enter, there's a surprise: a modern open-plan concert with a very contemporary vibe. The great room was opened up to
expose the high gable window and cathedral ceiling, with drywall-wrapped beams adding to the design story. A double corner Western Door pocket door system blends
the exterior and interior spaces when the weather is just right. State-of-the-art LED cove lighting adds to the modern feel in the evening hours, and the colors can be
adjusted with a tablet app to create the desired ambience.
