ABOVE, LEFT & FACING PAGE: Truly a home in the trees, this residence becomes one with
the forest and harmonizes with its environment—even an arborist and tree pathologist
were brought in to keep the site's trees intact and alive. The interplay of the cedar board
on the board-and-shingle siding along with the overlapping green roofs, gutters, and
downspouts creates a rich tapestry in a simple, natural palette. The entry canopy shelters
and f rames the etched glass entry door.
