ABOVE & PREVIOUS PAGE: When we designed a home for a couple who loves the desert and their privacy, our goal was to create as much outdoor living space as interior space.
We wanted them to have a home that is comfortable to live in year-round, which we achieved by use of multilayered roof elements. Solutions also included us creating a shade
structure that floats above the home and guest house to provide shade for outdoor living spaces and the home.
FACING PAGE: The home is nestled into the landforms of its site and fits in beautifully with its surroundings. In order to maximize the views indoors, we used expansive glass
throughout the design.
