BUTZ + KLUG architecture
Boston, MA
ABOVE & FACING PAGE: This project sits on a unique site where you can see sunrise and sunset over the ocean. There are no 'bad' views. The building, a three-season
residence for a couple, answers the question, "What would a house be if all of it was porch?" The plan is a symmetrical trapezoid with a butterfly roof and robust overhangs.
All exterior walls consist of glass-lift-and-slide doors that can open the house in various ways depending on weather, time of year, and use.
