ABOVE & FACING PAGE: The f ront elevation of this waterf ront house in Vero Beach, Florida, plays a game of push and pull with three-dimensional volumes that are
composed to visually reduce the building in scale while making a bold, modern statement. The projecting stair tower draws visitors to an entry court and a welcoming
splash of color at the f ront door. The canal side of the house rotates toward the intercoastal river, thus opening vistas and seamlessly blending the interior and exterior
spaces. The second-floor guest suites are complemented by a private outdoor terrace for morning yoga, birdwatching, sunset views, or stargazing.
