The mix of natural materials, including stone, wood, and metal, offers a modern interpretation of the Craftsman style, bringing a unique character to the home in dark grey board-and-batten siding and rich stained wood on the roof eaves and exposed rafter tails. The roof becomes a defining component of overall design with its series of lower-pitched hips and gables with large overhangs. FACING PAGE LEFT: The open-concept design features lush and inviting spaces and luxury amenities to create an amazing multi-generational family mountain retreat. A massive stone fireplace commands the great room, which flows f rom kitchen to dining to outdoor living. The clerestory crowns the great room and kitchen with windows on all sides, inviting natural light to stream in and highlight the extraordinary character and craftsmanship of the custom walnut millwork, stonework, and stained wood beams. FACING PAGE TOP RIGHT: Large glass sliding doors pocket into the wall between the great room and covered outdoor living area, featuring its own wood-burning fireplace and outdoor kitchen. With the glass doors pushed aside the entire space doubles, f raming breathtaking, long-range views of the mountains. FACING PAGE BOTTOM RIGHT: Luxurious guest suites can be found both on the lower and upper levels, offering privacy for family and f riends.
