ABOVE: Set on a rugged mountainside, Aspen Park pays homage to the surrounding mountains with varying roof angles and use of cut stone, wood, and steel. Without force or
imposition, the 15,000-square-foot home is seamlessly woven into the landscape. Richly contextual spaces that bridge the natural vernacular and the owner's love of Art Deco
design, Aspen Park has an elegance and authenticity of its own.
FACING PAGE: Clerestory windows and expansive spans of glass open the great room to the stunning mountain views. Using the site as inspiration, we utilized glass wherever
possible, with careful attention to balancing form with function. Two staircase-wrapped glass elevators flank the home's glass entry. We worked with interior designer Donna
Guerra to infuse selective natural materials throughout the design, instilling a sense of warmth and texture. A double-island chef 's kitchen and service pantry open to an intimate
family room and light-filled breakfast nook.
