ABOVE & FACING PAGE LEFT: I took a family-centric approach with the Gabriel Home. The modern house is L-shaped to enclose a family-f riendly outdoor living space with
a pool, gardens, and plenty of playable grass area. The inside of the L, facing the outdoor space, is almost entirely glass. Camelback Mountain looms over the home and is
viewable f rom nearly every room. Deep overhangs cover an outdoor living space that opens to the backyard and protects f rom the sun. The wood ceiling is Thermory, an
environmentally responsible material, engineered with heat and steam, no chemicals. The wood is rot-resistant and beautiful.
FACING PAGE RIGHT, TOP & BOTTOM: Minimalistic materials are used throughout the home and never overwhelm the surrounding views. The inside of the L f rames
views to the outdoor living space, backyard, and famed Camelback Mountain. The ceiling is 14 feet with glass running the height. In the kitchen, we let the modern and
simplistic materials shine: concrete floors by Southwest Coating Solutions, milk oak lower cabinets and white veneer uppers by Shinoki, Manhattan ball chandeliers by
Matteo Lighting, and white organic Caesarstone countertops. The hard finishes are by Allison Weyer and interior soft finishes are f rom Meaghan Franks with Design Planit.
