Weinman Architectural Services
Sedona, AZ
ABOVE & FACING PAGE: My own Sedona residence, which is built on a four-acre lot facing the iconic Cathedral Rock, embraces ideas and materials f rom New York while
maximizing exposure to the dramatic Southwest landscape—but not too much exposure to the intense sun. The clean, open, light-flooded structure literally reflects the
surrounding environment. The kitchen's lacquered white Italian cabinetry f rom Lucenti Interiors in New York City, for instance, certainly isn't common in Arizona. The
glossy surfaces act as a mirror for the scenery through the windows, reflecting back the silhouettes of the juniper trees that surround the home.
