ABOVE TOP: Everything down to the mulch used in the landscaping was selected
specifically for the Bay Area home, with the environment and aesthetics in mind. The pool's
custom built arched grotto includes a loveseat behind the waterfall. It is lit by lanterns
above and LED lights underwater.
LEFT:
Travertine, custom glass tile, and a beach sand interior made from crushed abalone
creates a welcoming pool and spa out back. The pool runs on a passive solar power system
that heats the water in an exceptionally energy-efficient manner. Custom LEDs within the
pool can be adjusted via remote controls at the spa and inside the house, or via an iPhone
app.
