ABOVE AND FACING PAGE: Even though this is a standard-size backyard, we maximized every square inch for our clients who wanted to bring
a tropical paradise to their Colleyville home while having an incredible place for entertaining and for their grandchildren to visit. The lazy
river is the star of the show, accented by Maui-inspired lush gardens, a waterfall, island spa, day bed, and a swim-under cave with a bar inside.
While there's an outdoor kitchen and porch, we also added built-in coolers at strategic points along the river to stock adult bevvies and kids'
refreshments, so there's no need to leave the water. With this immersive seing right outside their window, the homeowners can enjoy a taste
of the tropics 365 days a year. This project was featured on HGTV's "Cool Pools."
