Inspired Outdoor Living
LEFT: This sunken fire pit seamlessly flows into the landscape of this entire outdoor living
space that also features a pergola with a dining area and kitchen. Bordered by fragrant
citrus plants, the square seating around the fire pit accommodates a number of people
while delivering a sense of privacy and intimacy.

ABOVE: While it was challenging to find a use for this sunken area under a majestic oak
tree, we transformed it into a fun space for the teens in the family. Surrounded by plants for
a sense of separation, this zone is equipped with an outdoor TV and a custom-built wood
sofa with made-to-order pillows. The TV can swing out to be visible from the dining area.

FACING PAGE TOP LEFT: This modern pergola features louvres, lights, heaters, and a fan,
all operated by an app. Its design was elevated by a custom-built shelving unit, which
artistically houses poed plants and decorations, and resonates with a similar design
inside in the main dining room.

FACING PAGE TOP RIGHT: The area under this custom shelving unit was designed as a food
service area and smoothly transitions into a perpendicular bar facing the grill and a built-
in artisan pizza oven. It's the ultimate alfresco kitchen experience.

FACING PAGE BOT TOM: We were inspired to create a comfortable and lush, design-forward
space that maximized this backyard with multiple zones for all family members. Here,
we placed citrus trees between the fire pit and the partially sunken hot tub. We used the
strategic placement of plants to separate each garden room, so the family can be together
but also enjoy the intimacy of each space.
