15 Details ABOVE: Landscape is an extension of a building's site and its architectural design. To create a seamless project, we often use three-dimensional images to help the consumer visualize the entire experience. It's important to understand the vision of the client, the architect, and the engineers early to ensure things like the site's topography, the materials, and the infrastructure can support the result. In this rendering, notice the skyline's perfect blending with the base materials; they create a beautiful enfilade from the furthest part of the rear backyard, making the building's strong lines float effortlessly between the front and back. FACING PAGE TOP: This project's immersive landscape draws on the merging of the land, the building, and the amenities to create an outdoor living space that's meaningful, elevated, and in perfect harmony with its surroundings. FACING PAGE BOT TOM LEFT: Converging the indoor and outdoor living spaces was the goal here, as it is with every project—so, the outdoor materials are just as unusual and intentional as those indoors. The composition of the landscape makes the spaces feel completely fluid with one another. FACING PAGE BOT TOM RIGHT: The outdoor living room is sequestered by large boulders and thoughtfully placed plantings to provide a sense of peace and tranquility. Using materials that are seamless with the surroundings is key to creating the perfect experience.
