232 Inspired Outdoor Living ABOVE, FACING PAGE TOP, AND FACING PAGE BOT TOM LEFT: This grand front entrance of the Lee's Summit home (the backyard of which is pictured on page 3) received a statement-making upgrade as well. We constructed the portico—designed by Barre Kroll of Urban Prairie Architectural Collaborative, with a steel subframe designed by Ma Enstrom Stand Structural Engineering—to avoid any cross-member beams blocking the stunning Meyda custom chandelier. The smooth Pennsylvania bluestone floor is counterbalanced by the more rugged dry-stack limestone columns. Landscape architect Rick Barre, ASLA, designed all the lush plant life, while Whitney Hoskins created the gorgeous poed flower designs. Via the bird's eye view, you can see the harmonious landscaping as well as a glass gold tile fountain in the boom corner. FACING PAGE BOT TOM RIGHT: For homeowners of a coage-style 1960s bungalow in Mission, Kansas, we implemented the landscape design of Kelly VanElders, ASLA which amplified the manicured charm of this property.
