FACING PAGE TOP: JALA joined with the owners to reimagine this garden, where
abundant plantings were integrated within the classically inspired gates, new
historic brick wall, and pathways.
FACING PAGE BOT TOM LEFT: These two beautiful urns are filled with ferns and hint
at the landscape beyond.
FACING PAGE BOT TOM RIGHT: The formal layout of layered gravel paths is arranged
on a distinct axis to create a narrative of line, form, mass, and memorable sight lines.
The paths are balanced by layers of textured evergreen plantings intermingled with
colorful perennial flower displays. In the center rests an architectural urn with
seasonal plantings.
