Inspired Outdoor Living
Details
ABOVE: This bird's-eye view shows the impeccable layout of this entire outdoor space that was designed for connectivity. The white hardscape
intentionally unifies the different parts of the backyard — from the outdoor kitchen, bar, and dining area to the conversation zones around the
two-sided fireplace and even out to the pool. Artificial turf accomplishes the homeowners' desire for a low-maintenance space while providing
the beauty of greenspace to this meticulous design.
FACING PAGE TOP: This close-up view of the two-sided fireplace shows the cozy, comfortable vibe it offers. The open design of the fire feature
ensures visual fluidity without compromising a more intimate feel. We used the same white-facing brick that is used in the outdoor kitchen to
continue to optimize the connectivity of the entire space.
FACING PAGE BOT TOM: When we're designing an outdoor space, it's important to not only have beautiful, functional features but to think
about the way those features interact with each other. Case in point is the stunning shade structure for this outdoor kitchen. With the latest
engineering technology, we were able to create an 18-foot-long cantilevered pergola using only a single post for support. The design keeps the
back patio area open and clear, providing a stellar view of the yard from the back window of the home.
