ABOVE: The homeowners of this Atlanta-area property wanted to beer enjoy their lush, partially wooded backyard. So, I designed this open patio area to serve double duty as an outdoor kitchen and
entertaining area. The beautiful fireplace is the focal point of the space, offering warmth and radiance on cooler evenings. We collaborated with the client on the selection of all the natural stone, opting
for a smooth flooring juxtaposed with a more rugged look for the fireplace, columns, and counters.
FACING PAGE TOP: We really enjoy creating one-of-a-kind outdoor environments for our clients — and this particular structure was a fun challenge. I designed this enclosed patio to be curved at the back
with a flat-facing front that steps down into the pool. The rafters and wood-paneled ceiling give it an Adirondack-style flavor.
FACING PAGE BOT TOM. A screened-in porch leads to this backyard, where manicured landscaping, beautiful stonework, and a fire pit made this outdoor space far more inviting.
