ABOVE: Located on the middle floor of the home, the living
room sits adjacent to the kitchen and dining room. On the
other side of the fireplace and custom built-ins lies the
master bedroom.
RIGHT: The Wharfinger Room at the very top of the home
was designed to feel like a covered porch. Highly textured
lumber ceilings draw the eye upward, creating a rich focal
point. Large sliding doors open the room to the rooftop
terrace with incredible views of the marina.
FACING PAGE: In keeping with the commercial surroundings,
a large fictitious logo for the Langley Dock Company
adorns the side of the building. Although the Langley Dock
Company is no longer in business, the eye-catching feature
gives a playful nod to the local history. To the right, ladder-
like windows flood the interior stairway with light, adding to
the exterior's artistic façade.
