Welcome to the kitchen of Kristen Pawlak, DDCD! I wanted an "elegant farmhouse" look for my own space. This was a full gut
renovation, where I only kept the footprint, wood floors, and natural wood-look roller shades. I love this upgraded color palette of
grey, white, neutrals, and a touch of black to balance the organic feel of the wood. For the honed quartzite countertops, I wanted
the closest look to "Mackinac Island fudge shop marble" as I could get — but durable for cooking and family use! Rustic touches
include a live-edge farmhouse table, iron accents, and lots of roosters while the touches of gold in the oversized lighting fixtures
add that sophisticated juxtaposition.
