Inspired West Coast Homes
St. Helena, California, is a picturesque setting, so when we designed this custom single-family home, we wanted to capture the full scope of the sur-
rounding Napa Valley vineyards. To do this, we prioritized the importance of giving each space a dramatic view of the beautiful outdoor landscape. With
the rear yard facing south, we also embraced the site's ideal solar orientation. The transitional architecture of the home embraces traditional forms
with straightforward proportions, elements of symmetry and structure. As you approach the home, the exterior immediately captures attention with
its harmonious blend of rich cypress siding, local natural stone, and elegant metal roofing.
The heart of the home lies in its open-concept living spaces. The spacious great room is adorned with plush furnishings and a cozy fireplace, and serves
as the perfect gathering spot for the family to unwind and share time together. We masterfully achieved a serene haven where the family can dine
alfresco, enjoy leisurely afternoons, and revel in the surrounding beauty through the covered and screened loggia and the integration of interior and
exterior spaces. Privacy and tranquility are preserved with a thoughtfully designed primary bedroom suite, offering a personal sanctuary for the young
family of four to retreat and rejuvenate.
