Cynthia Miyashita started Sozo Studio with the vision to design and manufacture European-
quality modern kitchens in North America. Sozo Studio collaborates with designers, architects,
and homeowners to create unique kitchens incorporating the latest in finishes and opening
hardware. "Designing a kitchen is really like designing a factory," says Miyashita. "Raw materials
come in and a final product goes out that ideally was produced ergonomically and with minimal
effort. But a kitchen should be beautiful, as well." She also adds: "I love to design kitchens of all
shapes and sizes. My goal is to have clients say, 'Wow!' No two of our kitchens are the same
because no two of our clients are the same."
