Our goal for this kitchen was to transform it into a timelessly traditional and functional space with a touch of glamour. As a bold
focal point in the space, the vivid blue island is designed like a piece of furniture and is adorned with brass glaze to make a
beautiful statement against the soft-grey perimeter. Symmetry is achieved through transom walls with glass doors flanking a
custom hood, while panel detailing adds formality. Everywhere you look, upscale features like brass hardware, mullioned glass
doors, a textured mosaic backsplash, curved-edge quartz with blue veins and gold flakes, and marble-look tile flooring elevate the
design. So too do the crystal chandeliers. Natural light streams in via a solar tube over the island, complemented by strategically
placed layers of lighting. We've integrated functional solutions like LED power strips that provide task lighting and power access
without compromising the backsplash's aesthetic, while vertical linear LED lights enhance the cabinet interiors. Effective storage
includes pull-outs with utensil bins, knife, spice, double-waste baskets, and tray divider inserts. We maximized the vertical storage
by adding a tall cabinet, featuring six-inch deep shelves and utility sections.
