Natural light works like magic, especially in a kitchen. Throw open those curtains or
choose sheer drapes. By allowing daylight to stream in, you're not just lighting up a
room but also making it appear larger, fresher, and more vibrant. For this white and
bright kitchen, we took advantage of the window above the sink and in the adjacent
living area to do just that. The blown-glass-inspired pendants above the island
add an artistic flourish without blocking the flow of light. I love the statement range
wall we created using geometric tile on the backsplash and shelf stands to display
accessories and plateware. It adds an open feel, as do the glass-front cabinets on the
opposite wall.
