198 When it comes to creating beautiful and functional kitchen design, there's more to it than meets the eye — and the details make all the difference! While it can feel daunting and overwhelming to get everything just right, your dreamiest kitchen is within reach, especially with thoughtful and innovative planning. Here are eight of my favorite kitchen design tips that you may have never thought of before. 1. Group wall ovens horizontally, including steam and speed cook ovens, in one area and use a similar paint color or a custom stainless-steel fabricator to create drawers or trim. This will ensure there's one block of color or material that the eye sees rather than many disjointed lines, due to appliance sizes being incompatible. 2. Specify two 36-inch ranges together to create a six-foot cooking range. You'll increase cooking power and give balance to large spaces. 3. Incorporate hidden ref rigerator drawers for healthy juicing bars along with beverage centers for coffee, soft drinks, and kid's snacks. 4. Hide a large pantry by creating cabinet doors that function as entry doors. Massive pantries can be well-hidden with this design tool. 5. Always treat the ceiling as the fifth wall and also create a design for it. 6. Consider cabinets with mirrored doors to give illumination while offering more private interior storage than glass f ronts. 7. With today's CNC (Computer Numerical Control) tooling capabilities, special moldings and custom mullions can more easily be created by a talented team. These pieces will set the design tone for the kitchen and offer unique and f resh details. 8. In a separate beverage area, consider the use of a pot filler rather than a sink to help fill coffee, blenders, and juice machines. You will net more countertop space this way. With these eight design tips, your kitchen will have all the style and substance of your dreams.
