35 For a partial third-floor renovation of a Pacific Heights home, I redesigned the old kitchen, dining, and living room for a more functional and open flow that emphasized soft-contemporary styling while maximizing the beautiful view of San Francisco Bay. To add a touch of modern glam, I selected a geometric, water jet-cut marble tile for the backsplash along with gem-like, faceted glass pendant lights above the quartzite island. A convenient feature of the island is the outward-facing beverage fridge, where the homeowners and guests alike can quickly grab a cool drink.
