This kitchen was designed for a couple who are avid in-home chefs — and French trained! — though this is not their occupation. No surprise
that they wanted to feature their large La Cornue range, handcrafted outside of Paris, and complement it with great, French-inspired design
throughout the kitchen. A professional hood is well-hidden in the cabinetry above the range, and the antique glass is a perfect camouflage,
with the patterned tile serving as visual inspiration. The beams in this area are functional because this kitchen was formerly three rooms
that were opened to create one expansive space that's warm and inviting for those preparing the food, as well as for those enjoying the
results! Guests love gathering around the large banquette with two bistro tables. Don't miss the small "play kitchen" that's nestled into the
side of the island for the homeowners' grandchildren
