This kitchen was part of a whole house remodel where we transformed dated square footage into a sleek, modern showpiece.
Originally a cramped, U-shaped room with a peninsula, the kitchen is now an open-concept space that beautifully flows into the
living room and provides a much better experience for entertaining. We removed two walls, the pantry closet, and the hallway
door to achieve this result. To streamline the aesthetic, we moved all outlets under the cabinets with the lighting to create an
uninterrupted backsplash. The custom hood is minimalistic in design but adds an elegant touch to the space. While the white
cabinets were fitted with black hardware, the center island showcases gold to add another touch of elegance that ties in with
the gold fixtures in other rooms of the home. The island also features an under-counter microwave and includes cabinets on the
back and sides to make up for some of the storage that was lost when the living room wall was removed. The tall pantry next
to the refrigerator incorporates four rollout trays for easy access. Beautiful Brittanicca quartz by Cambria countertops adds a
bold flourish to the otherwise subtle space.
