ABOVE: This kitchen is perfect for entertaining, maintaining a minimalist, modern design to make the most of every square
inch — from storage to ample seating and beyond. The large island, with its contrasting porcelain countertop and deep
smoked oak wood, also brings an artistic touch from every angle. Natural light from the large wall of glass above the sink
ensures the space doesn't feel too dark.
FACING PAGE: Our central challenge for this project was the reconfiguring of the kitchen to achieve a minimalist aesthetic.
So we artfully positioned the kitchen island as a focal centerpiece in front of the backyard oasis backdrop. To maintain
the kitchen's clean and unadorned lines, pendant lights were intentionally omitted and, instead, recessed lighting and a
recessed hood were added from the newly lowered ceiling, fostering a tranquil and uncluttered atmosphere.
