For this family vacation home in Treasure Cay, Bahamas, we wanted to create the ultimate spa-like
primary bathroom. Throughout the home, the design style is transitional coastal, and we continued
that aesthetic in this space with clean lines and hints of the tropics, as seen in the patterned blue
palm frond wallpaper that playfully brings the outside in. The curve of the Virage Brizo decorative
vanity faucet design repeats the movements of the palm fronds and is a great playmate with the
wallpaper. Layered lighting creates the ability to set the mood of the room with multiple illumination
zones and settings. On the floors, the porcelain stone in 12-by-24 tiles were laid in a stack pattern,
running the length of the space to maintain the spacious feel and flow right into the shower. The Maxx
stand-alone soaking tub continues the spirit of decompression and relaxation. Not a single detail was
left unconsidered in this bathroom, right down to the cabinetry's designer hardware by Lisa Jarvis,
which delivers just the right amount of drama to complete this space's "wow" factor.
