261 After living in their suburban Denver home for many years, the owners desired a major update to modernize the space with clean lines, a contemporary feel, and high-contrast finishes. In that spirit, the primary bathroom is all about drama, contrast, and function — cue the dramatic black walls! We ensured they felt very Zen, and kept them from translating as too dark, with the addition of white and light grey finishes in the wall tiles, vanity cabinets, and countertops. The bright, large-scale modern artwork also breaks up the black expanse. For the new bathroom layout, we merged two separate small vanities into a single vanity. This allowed for the shower to more than double in size and create a luxury showering experience. A freestanding tub was also added.
