280 " The truth is that our surroundings are constantly shaping our thoughts, feelings, and behavior." —Coco Colin Our clients' main goal for this primary bathroom suite was to have a calming retreat. They have an active lifestyle with very hectic schedules, and their newborn kept them on their toes. So we chose a minimalistic approach for the materials in this space and used many subtle yet impactful textures to pull the materials together. One of my favorite elements is the bamboo-inspired walls, imbuing a sense of organic warmth. The walk-in shower is another delight that is seamlessly integrated. The shoji screen-inspired glass doors provide the necessary shower separation without enclosing or blocking the flow of the space. Now when these homeowners step into their new bathroom, they are pulled toward feelings of relaxation and a meditative state, which they sorely need after their hectic day is done.
