259 When you think of a "spa-inspired" bathroom, what generally comes to mind? Often we equate this style with a minimalistic approach to décor, nondescript finishes, and neutral colors — and for good reason. This subtle, streamlined approach can be incredibly soothing and Zen. But while this aesthetic might help you relax, it can also border on bland, uninteresting, and depersonalized. Creating your own luxury spa retreat at home doesn't have to follow the leader, though. You can color outside those neutral lines by adding bolder hues, interesting textures, and contrasting patterns to breathe new life into your space and give you energy for the day. After all, we spend just as much time in the bathroom in the morning, preparing for our day, as we do in the evening, unwinding. Of course, even with a more personality-driven aesthetic, there's plenty of room to maximize your favorite spa amenities to create a relaxing vibe while promoting health and wellness. We love harmonizing how our clients live with the colors, styles, and comfort they love. In this primary bathroom, we did just that. We placed a dreamy, jetted soaker tub inside the walk-in steam shower. The stunning quartz on the modern tub introduces a statement- making wash of color, thanks to its unique veining, while the corresponding accent tile on the wall provides an artistic flourish. We also integrated aromatherapy and chromatherapy to heighten the experience. Welcome to the ultimate spa day!
