FACING PAGE: Our client's wish for this space was the largest cave shower possible, with all the bells and whistles! Equipped with all the latest, greatest technology from
Kohler, it showcases three showerheads, four body spray jets, a hand shower, and a Real Rain Shower panel with 775 nozzles. It also includes two matching in-shower Bluetooth
speakers, and the whole system is controlled by Kohler's digital interface as well as a Konnect module that operates via app or voice command. That means the shower can
easily be turned on — and at the desired temperature — before one even steps into the bathroom! To achieve this destination shower experience, we completely reconfigured the
space by removing the outdated tub while moving walls and plumbing locations. We also added a transom window for natural light.
THIS PAGE: For this primary bathroom, we emphasized clean lines and a bright, white aesthetic that our client loves. To keep the space from feeling stark and sterile, we
incorporated a warm walnut vanity by Decora and outfitted it with sleekly modern, minimalistic hardware. Above the vanity, the wall is covered in 3-inch-by-12-inch ceramic tiles
installed in a unique pattern to add texture and visual interest. To keep the matte white porcelain floor tile from looking bland, we installed it in a brickwork-style vertical pattern.
The beautiful slipper tub and shower are surrounded by large 2-foot-by=4-foot tiles, installed vertically to the ceiling. A linear inset niche in the shower has four cubbies for much-
needed storage.
