FACING PAGE: For a sleek, stylish, and cohesive contemporary
look, monochromatic shower tiles can have an enormous impact—
especially when matte or low-sheen tiles are combined with
glossy accents. We often keep the palette relatively neutral when
implementing this approach, adding contrast though elements
like a bright-white tub, statement lighting, and interesting patterns
in vanity countertops. In the bathroom pictured on the bottom,
we used porcelain tyle in the flooring and shower. It's attractive,
incredibly practical, and easy to install.
THIS PAGE: The sink can easily become the centerpiece of a powder
room, and there are so many styles to choose from. Also, don't be
afraid to mix and match patterns and textures in a small space.
The neutral tones of this lovely metallic-floral motif wall covering
in partnership with embossed wall tiles, delightfully punctuated by
smooth hexagonal cement tiles, is nothing short of dreamy.
