304 When an outdated main bathroom needed a complete renovation, we were up to the task of making it extraordinary. There are many things that elevate this space, but among the most stunning elements are the cabinets in this rich marine blue. Gorgeous! They add a punch of saturated color — the favorite hue of the homeowner and KP Designs' designer, Nancy Gillespie — to create impact and elegance. Grey quartzite countertops, brushed gold finishes, and glamorous wallpaper continue the modern sophistication. In addition to the walk-in shower, where accent tile echoes the cabinets, the freestanding tub completes this luxurious, retreat-style haven. Photography by Dick Arnspiger, Louisville, KY Interiors by KP Designs, Louisville, KY, page 365 "A simple accent of a vertical stripe of tile, known as a "waterfall" look, can add just the right amount of drama to a shower." -Kristen Pawlak, DDCD
