This kitchen renovation was for a favorite longtime client of over seven years who loves to frequently entertain. So, creating an elegant yet comfortable and functional space
was a key goal. We merged the existing kitchen and adjacent family room to create an expansive space, which allowed us to "borrow" six feet from one end for a personalized
butler's pantry. We also reconfigured the ceiling profile and installed a 35-foot beam to marry the spaces together. Using the same new flooring across both spaces helped unify
them, as well. I love to expand windows over a sink — and this kitchen was no different. In this case, we tripled its size, allowing much more daylight in. Custom Amish cabinets
in rift oak, featuring inset doors with a special two-tone staining technique, set the stage for the space with outstanding contemporary lighting and beautiful Cambria quartz
countertops adding more visual appeal. Also featured are some of my favorite go-to brands such as Brizo faucets and G.E. Monogram appliances.
