You're privy to some of the best views of picturesque Little
Shuswap Lake at Talking Rock Golf Course & Quaaout Lodge.
Just a short drive from Kamloops or the Kelowna International
Airport, this is one of British Columbia's most scenic locations,
midway between Calgary and Vancouver.
As much as any other hole on the course, the 15th exemplifies
the way in which course architects Cooke and Carleton have
made use of the natural lay of the land in their design. Precision
is the key to success here. The elevated par 3 demands
accuracy to avoid the three bunkers protecting the front of the
green. Not within the field of vision from the much higher tee
boxes, an inhospitable band of rough between the tee and the
bunkers that front the green will make you pay for falling short,
while the elevated green drops off abruptly and steeply from the
rear edge. Extra length is sure to land you in trouble. A full two
clubs less off the tee is the best approach. And be aware, the
green is separated into two sections sloping from the front to a
much lower back right corner.
This hole is a great spot to showcase finesse and control.
