The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is truly a golfer's dream come
true—a world-class course that is as beautiful as it is challenging.
Designed and built under the exacting hand of master architect
Robert Trent Jones Jr., these 45 holes on four unique layouts
cover more than 440 acres.
The seventh hole of The Slopes course nestles into the sprawling
meadows and offers scenic views of two of Glencoe's five nines
and of the dramatic 25,000-square-foot clubhouse. With the
spectacular Rocky Mountains as a backdrop, this 566-yard hole
will challenge you regardless of your skill level. To be successful,
strategically drive the ball to the first landing area that is well
guarded with large spruce trees to the left and native grasses
and penal bunkers to the right. The long hitter can go for the
green in two; however, an additional large bunker to the right and
a lake to the left leave little room for error.
Approach shots are hit into a green that is set above the water
and heavily guarded by bunkers front left, back, and right. The
green itself is undulating and sure to test your short game as well
as your putter.
