The Ranch Golf and Country Club was once the home of the
Flying Red Wheel Ranch.
Situated on a site where the cowboys would look over grazing
cattle, the beautiful downhill 177-yard hole 14 requires a great
deal of accuracy, as it's guarded on the right by an extreme right-
to-left sloping hillside covered in high fescue and trees.
A shot into this area and you'll have to rely on a delicate wedge
shot to the green. Any ball hit a little strong will slowly begin to
roll toward either the rocky creek that guards the left side of the
undulating green or one of the bunkers that are so strategically
placed to capture errant shots.
When the wind starts to blow, a bogey or worse can easily be
expected on hole 14.
