Situated on the canals of Bellevue with direct access to the waters of
Lake Washington, this Newport Shores modern farmhouse addresses
the concept of spatial volume and verticality. This is the second new-
home project for this wonderful family. A mix of exterior geometric
volumes evokes how a farmhouse may have grown over the years of its
life. The cheery, bright white board and batten siding is softened by the
masses of warmth coming from the natural stone facades. Through our
creativity, we reveal how natural light can elevate the living experience
for the owners in a simplified space. The home is expressly designed for
the client's lifestyle and individual family needs. Large social interaction
areas mixed with getaway spaces assure a place for every mood. The
design of the home creates a sense of warmth and softness through the
materiality of the custom interiors and blurs the threshold of inside and
outside for exceptional outdoor living and entertaining.
